A exhibition depicting some of the residents and landscapes (old and new) of the area known locally as“ Revoe” in Blackpool.

Blackpool is undergoing a huge regeneration programme, the aim of which is to make the town ‘a world class resort destination that is a great place to visit, a better place to live’. It is important that we recognise Blackpool’s heritage. Blackpool was the world’s first working class seaside resort, and attracts millions of visitors a year. The unique, historical attractions such as:
The Boarding Houses, Landladies, Trams, Railway, Tower, Pleasure Beach, Piers, Winter Gardens, The Grand, Promenade, and Illuminations to name but a few, are still a major part of Blackpool life.  Many of these attractions fall within, cross, or are close to, the Revoe area of the town and are a rich part of Revoe’s individual cultural heritage.
